Nikhil maintains an interest in the academic side of music. He will be pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at New England Conservatory in the fall of 2026. Additionally, he has written program notes for the San Francisco Conservatory of Music orchestra, covering a wide range of repertoire. During his undergraduate and graduate studies at Eastman and SF Conservatory, Nikhil took courses in music theory, music history, performance practice, and pedagogy.
